Adekunle is the National Head of Technical Production at Qatar Petroleum with responsibility for Production , management, and distribution.
In other Advisory roles, Adekunle serves as the VP, Business Development at InVcap. He is a member of the Investment Committee where he is involved in the screening of investments and the development and implementation of InVcap’s corporate strategy.
Ade brings about 23 years working experience in financial, contracting and project management from experiences garnered in management consulting and in the oil & gas industry.He had previous experience as Business Analyst and consultant at financial giant Andersen LLP leading business assurance and due diligence teams for clients across the Oil & Gas, Telecommunications and Manufacturing sectors.In 2003 he joined global energy giant ExxonMobil as Conceptualization & Cost Engineer where he worked on projects from conceptualization through selection to the construction stage.
At KBR, (Halliburton Group), a leading global engineering, construction and services company for civil infrastructure sector, he was Project manager and Cost Engineer leading teams in the UK on several multl-sector million dollar infrastructure projects between 2007-2012. He was part of the team that executed the Gordon LNG A$50b project in Western Australia gathering even greater experience in procurements, contracts and supply chain management.
Adekunle holds an MBA from Manchester Business School, an M. Sc. in Mechatronics from Kings College, London, and a B. Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from Nigeria’s University of Lagos.
