Nancy Adossi is a professor at the University of Houston-Downtown. She recently joined the United Nations Migration as an Expert on Labor Migration in the United States of America.
Before then, Nancy worked for 3 years in Canada as the in-house Entrepreneur & Coach at Skills for Change. Over these years, Nancy coached nearly 300 newcomers in the Ontario province thorough a project funded by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada / Immigration, Réfugiés et Citoyenneté Canada.
She a public speaker who speaks on topics such as education, immigration, and human rights. She received her Doctorate in 2017 from the University of Houston and has a Masters of Public Administration and a Bachelors of Science in Political Science. Nancy worked as an Adjunct and Instructor at Skills for Change, Canada and aims for a stint at Web programming
At her recent job, Nancy says “My personal #mission in life is to ensure #migration is a basic human right. Thus, I am excited to use my competencies in labor policy & country development and my experience in entrepreneurship to contribute to the work and projects at UN Migration”.
