HE Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN, is the Governor of Ondo State, Nigeria. He is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), and was President of the Nigerian Bar Association till 2008. Akeredolu was a Managing Partner at the Law Firm of Olujinmi & Akeredolu,a Law Firm he co-founded with Chief Akin Olujinmi, a former Attorney General and Minister for Justice in Nigeria.
Ondo-State has a population of about 4 million, with potential for labour, manufacturing, agricultural products, management cadre, and consumer market opportunities. The state has a GDP of $8.5b, 10 post-secondary Colleges and universities, and 18 Municipalities.The state has the longest coast line in Nigeria of 90km demonstrating a huge potential for beach resort and tourism development.
